Burchfield Penney Art Center's Art In Craft Media 2023 Juried Exhibition

To be eligible, artists must be current or past residents of Western New York state (Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, Genesee, Niagara, Orleans, Wyoming, and Monroe Counties).

Works in glass, fiber, wood, clay, and metal which have been completed in the past two years will be considered. The deadline for entries is 5pm, June 16th, 2023. Late or incomplete entries will not be considered.

PLEASE NOTE: All entries must be submitted through this submission form. Artists may submit up to 4 submissions, but each work must be submitted individually and represented by one or two images for each. There is no entry fee.

Contemporary work will be selected on the basis of quality, uniqueness, originality, and aesthetic integrity. All selections are made by the 2023 Juror, and all decisions are final. The Burchfield Penney curatorial staff has the right to remove any work that is not in proper presentable condition, or is not as presented in the submission images. The selected work must be available for the duration of the exhibition. The artist cannot provide a substitute for selected work.

Artists must copy and paste the content from their resumé into their User account. Your resumé should include the following: year of birth, education, select recent exhibitions (include date, exhibition title, site, city, state), collections, awards/honors, publications, and connections to Western New York. Resumés and images from accepted artists will be filed in the Burchfield Penney Archives.
